„In a couple of films Eléonore de Montesquiou focused on the relationship that people have to their homes. She collected stories from inhabitants in Estonia, in an area where political changes had strong influence on the housing situation. In the short film Célibataire (2001), (...) houses appear in a hypnotic camera sequence while excerpts from peoples stories are repeated by two voices, and are mixed in an endless litany.“
