With Emilia –Bozena’s daughter- and Joanna (Asia), students in the German-Polish law university of Frankfurt am Oder.
The film is based on discussions about their decision to study in the Viadrina university, and about their future. For Emilia, who does not speak German as fluently as Joanna, these studies are rather the realisation of her mother’s wishes than her own dream. It is very difficult for her and she would prefer to move to Berlin and study art. For Joanna, on the other hand, it is the best education she could have imagined, since it will open the doors of Europe for her.
