Nur is the name of a beach in Northern Iran where women must go bathing fully dressed and veiled, and where couples are not allowed to touch in public, not even just to hold hands.
Nur is the story of a woman there, the ambiguity of her role, playing, or struggling against a man and the law, or triumphant, and our inability to grasp fully the meaning of this symbolic garment.
