I discovered the excitement of football and how powerful a means of communication football is, during the 1998 World Cup in Paris, when France played Brazil in the final. But when I recently went to Brazil, I realized how deeply rooted football is in Brazil’s culture and geography. Brazilian football has a lot to do with rhythm and a perfect sense of acceleration. My film is an improvisation about this Brazilian passion for rhythm and football, the pure energy: PURA ENERGIA!
